Bread Machine Cookbook

If you are like me and enjoy baking I thought I would just tell you about this superb breadmaking book I got from our local Oxfam shop. It is specially for bread machines. I thought I would add this to Magpie Monday over on Me and My Shadow blog.

Since we bought our breadmaker last February, we have only bought two loaves of bread. Yes, two loaves in 11 months!!! We have made all the rest. The bread is so quick and easy to make.It is so much cheaper, you know exactly how much salt is in it and that everything in it is pure and good and it is a thousand times nicer than the bread you usually buy in the shops.

The book is in absolute pristine condition. It tells you everything you could want to know about bread.  I have made, so far Rapid white bread, a milk loaf, an egg enriched white loaf (this is quite dense in texture so you can cut it really thin for sandwiches if you have a nice sharp bread knife.),a light wholemeal loaf and a multigrain loaf.

It has recipes for cakes and rolls and so much more. There are recipes for such things as potato bread and all kinds of unusual breads. I intend to try a pizza recipe soon. I don't know what its original price was but Amazon have some for sale, second hand for over £30. Mine cost £2.99 and I know it will be a real investment.
